#FoundSound: Tail Feather

March 14, 2016 — by Imogen Byers

Hooky psych pop from Berkshire.

Announcing itself via rich, lazy guitar licks, Tail Feather‘s ‘Space Travel’ has instant allure, with an ambient and futuristic feel that pays homage to Pink Floyd.

One minute in, the Berkshire-formed band introduce a woozy four-part harmony and it’s mesmerising, mimicking the sound crafted by timeless stalwarts like Crosby, Stills & Nash and Fleetwood Mac.

With four years of playing together under their belt, this five-strong psych machine are just getting better and better and the release of their new single earlier this month signals an exciting 2016 ahead.
